Abstract
Magnetic quantumdot cellular automation (MQCA) is used to fabricate logic devices at nano scale, MQCA is cellular automation technique which uses magnetic quantum dots cells which are coupled by dipolar fields. This can be used to fabricate logic devices of nano scale in size for digital operations. Instead of electronics devices which produce more heat, these MQCA devices can replace them because of low power dissipation and high integration density of functional devices. Here we tested virtual magnetic quantum dot cells for logic operations using OOMMF simulation software which runs on a LLG equation. Chapter 1 to 4 contains prerequisites for the project, chapter 5 brief details about our work: i) A chain of virtual quantum dot cells as an information carrier up to 9 magnetic elements ii)As a logic inverter up to 10 magnetic elements iii) majority gate operations.
