Abstract

The present work focuses on the experimental and finite element analysis of Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) stiffened panels with two blade stiffeners. The buckling behavior of the CFRP stiffened panels with and without cutouts between the stiffeners is investigated under compression loading. In this study, stiffened panels are fabricated in-house starting with the both stiffeners individually fabricated using vacuum infusion (VI) process and later co-bonded to the skin is of quasi isotropic stacking sequence [−45⁰/45⁰/90⁰/0⁰]
