Abstract

Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel cell (PEMFC ) having highest power density compared to other fuel cells . Operation temperature < 100ºC mainly considered for portable applications . Its uses are endless starting from space shuttle to Fuel cell cars in Automobile Industry . I have derived necessary equations for unsteady state PEMFC model and then I used COMSOL for modelling to analyze how water content inside PEMFC would change with respect to space coordinate and time based on the inlet conditions .
