Abstract

About 5,000 educational institutions were considered for the NIRF ranking this year. Hyderabad: The educational institutions from the State have shined in the recently released ranking of the National Institutional Ranking Frame (NIRF) of the Ministry Human Resource Development.The University of Hyderabad was ranged fourth among all universities and 11th among all the institutions in the country. In 2018, it was ranked fifth among varsities and 11th among all institutions.In the engineering category, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Hyderabad was ranked eighth in the country and institute has improved its position from last year when it was ranked ninth. The IIT-Hyderabad was also ranked 10th in the first edition of Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) introduced this year.
