Abstract

NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2019 stated that IIT – Hyderabad stood eighth among top Engg colleges, a place higher than the previous year’s NIRF Ranking. The institution has also stood at 22nd place in the ‘Overall’ category this year as well. Prof U.B. Desai, IIT-H director said, “It is indeed a matter of pride for IIT-H to be ranked 8th in engineering. It is to be noted that this is the 4th year in a row that IIT-H has been placed in top 10. All credit goes to the faculty and students of IIT-H for this fantastic achievement.”
