Abstract

Objectives: People experiencing auditory hallucination are often considered as those who need psychiatric and psychological treatment. There has been lack of emphasis on understanding the meaning behind the voices and the personal history of the voice-hearers. Moreover, the significant role that family could play in the process of recovery is also simply overlooked. Therefore, the present study aimed to study and explore the lived experiences of individuals with auditory hallucination and their caregivers.
