Abstract

Phrases to Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) Animations. This is a self-sponsored project, which deals with the design process involved in converting phrases from a language into GIF animations. In addition, an initiation to preserve the lesser spoken languages in India. Tulu is a Dravidian language spoken mainly in the south-west part of the Indian state of Karnataka, collectively known as Tulu Nadu. The project combines Phrases, Culture and Tradition from Tulu Nadu to give the viewer a visual treat and create an experience in the form of short GIF animations.
