Abstract

We present the electroweak sector of the Standard Model, in which we will discuss interaction between intermediate vector bosons and fermions. We will show how using Higgs mechanism vector bosons become massive, and how in Yukawa sector we give mass to leptons and quarks. In order to give mass to neutrino, which remains massless in Standard Model we will step beyond the SM and discuss Seesaw mechanism at tree level further applying radiative correction to this mechanism. 4
