Abstract

A visible-light-mediated metal-free organic dye catalyzed intramolecular C-C coupling by photoredox process is disclosed. This procedure provides a metal-free alternative for the synthesis of synthetically valuable indoles from readily accessible β-iodo N-arylated enamines under mild conditions.
