Abstract

A simple, mild and one-pot straightforward microwave-assisted route for the synthesis of alkenyl halides is presented. Overall, the reaction proceeds through condensation between alcohols and terminal acetylenes with a halide substitution, which is originated from simple and commercially available zinc halides. This methodology is amenable with different halide source and furnished a divers alkenyl halides.
