Abstract

The neutral component of the Majorana Fermion Triplet (Σ + , Σ 0 , Σ − ) is proposed to be a viable candidate for dark matter. There have been promising cosmological and astrophysical evidences for dark matter (DM). Although, the triplet fermion has not yet attained the spotlight when it comes to the candidacy for DM, yet it does have some intriguing proper- ties. By employing methods to calculate the relic abundance of the pro- posed particle, we verify from the observational data provided by WMAP, that the relic of the particle does match with the mass density. Using these relations, proper limits on the mass of the Σ 0 can be found, which can hence, be probed for in particle accelerators such as LHC
