Abstract

A newly designed nano palladium Pd(0) impregnated CuFe 2 O 4 was taken as a heterogeneous catalyst anticipating the advantage of Pd - Cu bimetallic entity for coupling reactions. It was then applied successfully in C - C bond forming reactions, namely Suzuki reaction (up to 99% yield) under optimized conditions. The catalyst was reused five times without loss of activity
