Abstract

A new concept - Unnat Bharat Abhiyan - initiated by the Union Government aimed at transformational change in the rural development process may bring a phenomenal change in Uttarapalli, located near Kandi in Medak district. The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH), has been in the process of developing self-powered chipset working on solar power. This was a project sanctioned by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) with a funding of Rs. 3 crore for a three-year period.
