Abstract
Thermo-mechanical processing of materials involving heavy deformation and annealing results in the development of micro structure and crystallographic texture. The behavior of the processed materials can be significantly affected by these changes. As a consequence development of texture during thermo-mechanical processing has been a topic of much interest and has intensely been investigated in a wide range of materials including single phase metals and alloys, two phase alloys and inter metallic alloys.
