Abstract

This chapter is an update on the “9.18 Six-membered Rings with Two or More Heteroatoms with at least One Silicon to Lead” by P. D. Lickiss, Imperial College London, London, UK. The chapter details the work carried out in the last 10years in this field. In order to keep the length of the chapter concise, this chapter will give a relatively brief survey of the recent literature, covering as wide a range of rings as possible, rather than providing a comprehensive approach. Limited information is available on the recent developments in this field on most of the ring systems. The last comprehensive review on this topic was published by Lickiss 10years back. Thus, it was of necessity to provide an update on the chapter by Lickiss. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
